Although few details about the plot of "Brave New World" are known, initial information points to the story. In an interview with Screen Rant, director Julius Onah revealed that the film is planned as a paranoid thriller that will fit seamlessly into the series of previous "Captain America" films.

What is certain is the timing of the events after "Secret Invasion": President Ritson has since left office and been replaced by ex-General Ross. The inclusion of the Hulk theme in "Captain America 4" is widely regarded as familiar - and this is not only due to the reappearance of three characters from the old "Hulk" flick. Connoisseurs of the comic universe will be aware that Ross will at some point slip into the role of the fearsome Red Hulk.

In addition, Dr. Samuel Sterns, known as The Leader, is a villain who most people probably didn't have on their radar.
