Overview
A new series adaptation of the iconic and successful book series by J.K. Rowling. The roles of Harry, Ron and Hermione will be played by newcomers Dominic McLaughlin, Alastair Stout and Arabella Stanton. Also taking part are, among others: John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape, Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall and Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid. Filming of the series is scheduled to begin in summer 2025. There is no start date yet, but it is likely that the first season will premiere at the end of 2026 or even 2027 at the earliest.
