Overview
A new series adaptation of the iconic and successful book series by J.K. Rowling. Six actors have been confirmed so far: John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape, Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall, Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid, Paul Whitehouse as Argus Filch and Luke Thallon as Quirinus Quirrell. Filming of the series is scheduled to begin in summer 2025. There isn't a release date yet, but it is likely that the first season won't premiere until late 2026 or even 2027 at the earliest.
