Golden Globes 2026: An Overview of the Nominations!
From "One Battle After Another" to "Sinners": The best films and series of the year have been nominated
The Golden Globes are coming up: The prestigious awards will be presented on January 11, 2026. As usual, the outstanding actors, directors, screenwriters and co. will be honored for their achievements over the past year. The Golden Globes also serve as a pointer towards the Academy Awards. The nominations for all categories were announced on December 8. Among them are numerous film and series highlights. One film in particular is considered to have a good chance.
We are talking about Paul Thomas Anderson's "One Battle After Another". The film starring Leonardo DiCaprio has already been named Film of the Year by some critics. The thriller has now received nine nominations. Together with films such as "Blood & Sinners" (8 nominations) and "Sentimental Value" (7 nominations), it is therefore the favorite in the race. Meanwhile, in the series category, the focus is on "The White Lotus", "Severance" and "Adolescence", among others.
