Overview

Billy Batson is a teenager with a difference. When he says the magic word "Shazam!", he transforms into the superhero Shazam and becomes his adult alter ego. But he's not the only one with unusual superpowers - his foster family siblings Freddy, Mary, Pedro, Eugene and Darla, each of whom has different powers, are also involved. As they learn to deal with these powers over time, an ominous confrontation ensues with the Titan daughters Hespera, Kalypso and their younger sister, who pay a visit to Earth on behalf of the Titan Atlas and do not bode well. Billy will have to arm himself from now on, although he is also in the midst of a crisis of meaning and is plagued by the belief that he does not deserve superhero status.
