Mysterious Teaser for Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse

Golden days for Spider-Man fans: Filming on "Spider-Man 4" is set to kick off next summer and there's a big role for Peter Parker in the upcoming "Avengers" sequels. Only Miles Morales and the next "Spider-Verse" film had to face difficulties. The theatrical release of part 3 was originally planned for spring 2024, but since then, things around the project had gone quiet - until now, as a new teaser promises a big announcement.
The reason for the recent excitement surrounding the sequel to the animated series is a huge light installation in New York's Chelsea district. What can be seen is a gigantic Spider-Verse logo. Normally, such campaigns are launched shortly before a major presentation - for example at the Comic Con Experience. Indeed, the next CCXP will take place in early December. The announcement of the new, official theatrical release of "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse" is of course an obvious move. An experiment by the villain Kingpin disrupts the web of reality, allowing various versions of Spider-Man from other dimensions to enter Miles' world. These include an older, burnt-out Peter B. Parker, the cool and independent Gwen Stacy (Spider-Woman), the noir Spider-Man, Spider-Ham (a comic relief character in pig form) and Peni Parker with her Spider-Robot.
The animation style of the film is revolutionary. With its mix of traditional 2D animation, 3D technology and comic elements, such as panels, sound effects and text boxes, the movie gives the feeling of being right inside a comic book. Each character has their own visual style to match their dimension, making the movie a visual treat.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023)
Five years later, the sequel "Across the Spider-Verse" continued the story of Miles Morales. This time, the film delves even deeper into the world of the multiverse and introduces a variety of new Spider-Man versions, including Miguel O'Hara (Spider-Man 2099), a futuristic and stern variant, and Hobby Brown (Spider-Punk), who delighted viewers with his anarchic charm.
Miles continues to try to find his place in the world, but the challenges are greater than ever. He is confronted with the question of whether he must change his own destiny or bend to the rules of the multiverse in order to save other Spider-beings. This leads to exciting confrontations, especially with Miguel O'Hara, who acts as the guardian of the multiverse.
The sequel places great emphasis on developing the characters further. Gwen Stacy is given a deeper backstory that shows how she deals with the loss of her best friend Peter Parker and her difficult relationship with her father.
