The Four Horsemen return: Lionsgate confirmed via X that filming on "Now You See Me 3" has been completed. And there's also a number of set photos.

It features the likes of Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Isla Fisher, Justice Smith and "Barbie" actress Ariana Greenblatt, who obviously had lots of fun during production. But of course we will also be able to see Jesse Eisenberg and Mark Ruffalo in their roles again.

While precise plot details are still being kept under wraps, there are some clues as to what we can expect in "Now You See Me 3". Rumors suggest a reboot of the series, with a new generation of magicians possibly following in the footsteps of the Horsemen.

The movie will be directed by Ruben Fleischer, who previously directed the "Zombieland" films and the first "Venom" part with Tom Hardy. The writer is Eric Warren Singer, who worked on "American Hustle" and "Top Gun: Maverick".

Despite mixed reviews, the first two movies were a huge success. The ending of "Now You See Me 2" may also have contributed to the fact that fans are eagerly anticipating another installment. The release date is currently set for November 14, 2025.

Now You See Me: Magical Heists and Surprising Twists

Since making a debut in 2013, the "Now You See Me" movies have become one of the most exciting and entertaining Heist franchises. They combine the art of magic with clever heists and an ensemble of charismatic actors. The first two movies in the series, "Now You See Me" (2013) and "Now You See Me 2" (2016), are known for their breathtaking tricks, unexpected twists and the dynamics between the protagonists. Here's a look at the first two chapters of this fascinating saga.

Now You See Me (2013): The Beginning of a Magical Journey

The first movie introduces audiences to the world of the "Four Horsemen" - a group of talented magicians who use their tricks to pull off spectacular heists. Played by Jesse Eisenberg (J. Daniel Atlas), Woody Harrelson (Merritt McKinney), Isla Fisher (Henley Reeves) and Dave Franco (Jack Wilder), the group quickly rises to fame by pulling off seemingly impossible heists during their shows and distributing the stolen money to the audience.

The plot begins when the Horsemen are recruited by a mysterious organization called "The Eye", which leads them on magical and morally questionable missions. Meanwhile, tenacious FBI agent Dylan Rhodes (Mark Ruffalo) is sent after them, assisted by Interpol agent Alma Dray (Mélanie Laurent). Despite their efforts, the Horsemen always seem to be one step ahead of the law.

The movie culminates in a spectacular finale that shows that nothing is as it seems. Dylan Rhodes turns out to be the secret mastermind behind the events and a member of "The Eye". With clever twists and impressive effects, "Now You See Me" became a surprise hit that grossed over 350 million dollars worldwide.

Now You See Me 2 (2016): Even Bigger, Even More Magical

The second part continues the story one year after the events of the first movie. The Four Horsemen are still part of "The Eye" and carry on their magical heists while remaining largely hidden from the public eye. But when a planned coup goes wrong, they are lured into a trap by a mysterious adversary named Walter Mabry (Daniel Radcliffe). Mabry, a tech-savvy billionaire, forces the Horsemen to carry out a seemingly impossible heist: the theft of a sophisticated computer chip that can hack global surveillance systems.

Meanwhile, FBI agent Dylan Rhodes continues to pursue his dual role, trying to protect the Horsemen while keeping up appearances that he is hunting them. His character is further deepened in this movie, especially with the revelation of his personal connection to "The Eye" and his past.

A further highlight of the film is the introduction of Lizzy Caplan as Lula, who replaces Henley Reeves and breathes new life into the group. Her bubbly and eccentric personality provides humorous moments that enrich the Horsemen's dynamic.

The movie plays with even bigger locations, including a spectacular scene in Macau, and features some of the most innovative magic tricks ever seen on screen. In particular, the scene in which the Horsemen smuggle a playing card with a chip on it through a heavily guarded facility during a heist remains unforgettable.

"Now You See Me 2" likewise concludes with a surprise: The Horsemen escape Mabry, and Dylan Rhodes solidifies his position as the leading member of "The Eye". However, the movie also takes an emotional turn as Dylan accepts the legacy of his late father, who was once a famous magician.
