Here's When the Avengers 5: Doomsday Trailer Is Expected to Be Released
An insider shares information about the trailer release
After a whopping seven and a half years, a new "Avengers" film is finally set to hit cinemas in 2026. Hollywood insider Daniel Richtman has now revealed when we can get our first look at the Marvel blockbuster. According to him, the first trailer for "Avengers: Doomsday" is due this year!
According to Richtman's information, it will premiere in the course of the upcoming film "Avatar: Fire And Ash". The trailer will therefore be shown in cinemas before the new James Cameron film. The specific date is December 19, when "Avatar 3" opens in cinemas. The trailer release has not yet been officially confirmed. However, a release before "Avatar" seems logical. After all, "Fire & Ash" is one of the biggest blockbusters of the year.
The trailer would therefore be released a good year before the release of "Avengers 5". The film will celebrate its premiere on December 18, 2026. However, it is questionable whether a real trailer can be presented a year before the movie is released. It is quite possible that the first footage is more of a teaser.
In general, Disney has relied on trailer premieres on the big screen in the past. Most recently, the first trailer for the same "Avatar" film was shown for the first time before "The Fantastic Four: First Steps". A few days later, the trailer was also published online. If Richtman's information is correct, we can therefore expect a timely release for a wide audience. As soon as the footage has been released, you can of course find it immediately in the KinoCheck app or on our YouTube channel.
The cast of Avengers Doomsday
Very little is known about the plot of the new "Avengers" film. What is clear, of course, is that the film's antagonist will be Dr. Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr. Part of the cast of "Doomsday" has been known since March. Marvel officially introduced numerous actors in a big livestream event back then. Some familiar faces are returning in their previous roles – including several actors from the "X-Men" films. Here we summarize for you once again who has been confirmed so far.

As you can see, there are still some well-known Marvel stars missing from this list – such as Benedict Cumberbatch. However, this could still change, because according to reports, the published cast is not yet complete. It is quite possible that more well-known names will be announced.
Behind the scenes
The two upcoming "Avengers" films will once again be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo. They will also direct "Avengers 6: Secret Wars" after "Doomsday". Few directors enjoy such a high level of trust – both from fans and those responsible at Marvel. The Russo brothers have already proven their skills in the Marvel universe on several occasions. Their first MCU film, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier", was already a hit. This was followed by "Captain America: Civil War", in which central MCU characters faced off against each other. Their most recent contributions to the MCU to date are "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Avengers: Endgame" – both became worldwide box office hits and marked the conclusion of the popular Infinity saga.
Next up in the MCU: Spider-Man 4: Brand New Day
Before "Doomsday" hits cinemas, there is another MCU film on the schedule: "Spider-Man: Brand New Day". In addition to lead actor Tom Holland, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon are also back. The cast also has a few surprises in store: Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, Michael Mando as Scorpion, "Stranger Things" star Sadie Sink and Jon Bernthal as the Punisher are also part of the cast. A first short teaser has already given fans a glimpse of Tom Holland in the new Spider-Man suit. However, it will still be a while before the film is released: "Spider-Man 4: Brand New Day" opens on July 31, 2026. You can find all further information in our movie preview!
