As reported by industry magazine Deadline, among others, Hollywood star Emily Blunt will be taking on a role. The actress is known from numerous films, such as Christopher Nolan's "Oppenheimer", the science fiction film "Edge of Tomorrow" and the "A Quiet Place" series.
Emmy and Golden Globe winner Josh O'Connor is also part of the cast. The actor was most recently seen in "Challengers" with superstar Zendaya and in the Netflix series "The Crown"."Kingsman" star Colin Firth and "Euphoria" actor Colman Domingo will also be in front of the camera for Spielberg.
Speculation About Title and Plot
The portal World of Reel claims to have learned that the project is called "The Dish". According to initial rumors, the movie will revolve around UFOs. UFOs were already the subject of Spielberg movies like "Close Encounters of the Third Kind". However, neither piece of information has yet been officially confirmed.
Meanwhile, the screenplay will be written by David Koepp. The duo Spielberg and Koepp have already made numerous films together. These include the first two "Jurassic Park" films and "War of the Worlds".
