First Details About The Avengers Doomsday Trailer
According to insider reports, we'll see Doctor Doom in action!
Attention Marvel fans! A new insider report provides us with the first details about the upcoming trailer for "Avengers: Doomsday". According to the YouTube channel Film Threat, we can expect one thing in particular: Doctor Doom in action!
According to them, it's not just a short teaser. We will probably get to see a lot of Robert Downey Junior's antagonist. His interpretation of Doom is reminiscent of classic movie monsters from Universal. The production studio is known for its iconic monsters – such as Dracula, Frankenstein's monster or the Phantom of the Opera. The villain's external and internal state is described as follows:
"Doom must have the armour because he has a broken body, scarred. [...] He needs the suit to actually function."
Dr. Doom is also described as a tragic and broken character. Downey Jr's. 's interpretation is compared to a character like Darth Vader.
When will the Avengers: Doomsday Trailer be released?
The trailer premiere is allegedly scheduled for this year. Several insiders are now reporting a release in the course of "Avatar: Fire and Ash". The trailer will therefore be shown in cinemas before "Avatar 3". James Cameron's new blockbuster will be released in cinemas on December 19.
However, the trailer release has not yet been officially confirmed. But it would fit in with Disney's last major trailer release: Most recently, before "The Fantastic Four: First Steps", the first trailer for that very "Avatar" film was shown for the first time. A few days later, it was also released online. So if the trailer awaits us in cinemas in December, we can also expect a timely release for a wide audience. You will of course find it immediately in the KinoCheck app or on our YouTube channel.
Until you can see the entire film, a little patience is still required: "Doomsday" will be released in cinemas on December 18, 2026. One year later – on December 17, 2027 – the sixth film in the series, "Avengers: Secret Wars", will be released.
What is already known about Doomsday?
The two upcoming "Avengers" films will once again be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo. The directors enjoy a high level of trust from those responsible at Marvel Studios thanks to their previous films. Their debut "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" impressed critics and audiences alike and is considered one of the best films in the MCU. With "Captain America: Civil War", they then brought together some of the most famous heroes of the Marvel universe in an epic conflict. They reached their climax for the time being with "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Avengers: Endgame". The blockbusters marked the conclusion of the popular Infinity saga with great success.
