Overview
In the 8th century BC, the history of the Roman Empire began in the Italian region of Lazio. Here the law of the gods rules and life is hard. King Numitor worries about his people, who have been suffering famine for some time. An oracle advises him to give up the throne and give it to his grandsons: Enitos and Yemos. But his brother Amulius does not accept this decision. He wants the throne for himself and kills Enitos. Yemos, on the other hand, can escape from the violence of his great-uncle.
