12-year-old Ben struggles with middle school (bullying, crushes and proms included!) , has to get used to his new family AND, to make matters worse, has just discovered that he has superpowers. Over the course of the ten-part season, Ben embarks on a journey of self-discovery and learns the true meaning of his superpower. He finds an ally in his stepsister Max, who helps him to use these powers and unravel the secrets behind the mysteries and tragedies of his surroundings... and at the same time he tries to understand what it takes to be Ben.
