Overview

As a hurricane bears down on Miami's busiest trauma center, popular chief resident Dr. Xander Phillips (Colin Woodell) is suspended and resident Dr. Danny Simms (Willa Fitzgerald) is unexpectedly promoted. The storm rages on and emergencies pile up. Then the hospital goes into lockdown. Danny and Phillips must find a way to work together - even as the juicy details of their complicated and illicit affair gradually come to light. The rest of the ER staff must deal with the consequences of this relationship while coping with their own personal and professional challenges in an environment where every second can mean the difference between life and death. For this close-knit group of medical professionals, it is often easier to save the lives of others than to save their own.
