Wind of Change
A music movie starring Dominic West, Alexander Dreymon and Ludwig Trepte
Wind of Change follows the Scorpions from Hanover on their journey from a divided Germany to the international rock scene of the 1980s. Singer Klaus Meine , guitarist Rudolf Schenker , Matthias Jabs , and drummer Herman Rarebell focus on English-language songs and hope to perform behind the Iron Curtain as well. Manager Doc McGhee accompanies their rise to fame, while their friend Andrej brings the political division of Europe to life through his personal experiences. Director Alex Ranarivelo weaves together the band's history, rock music, and the Cold War with the Scorpions' performances in the Soviet Union.
