The title of the new Ghostbusters sequel has been revealed: Already 2 months ago, a picture made the news, in which the well-known logo was completely covered in ice. Now a leak apparently reveals the official title.

Many were wondering: What will be the name of the "Ghostbusters: Afterlife" sequel? The answer now seems clear: "Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire" - at least according to an insider on X and a translatiom from a german press leak. Also, a trailer seems to be coming soon.

What exactly "Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire" will be about is not known yet. However, the post-credits scene of the predecessor already hinted that they will probably go back to New York to the legendary headquarters. The new film has so far been appropriately given the working title "Firehouse," named after the former fire station. "Ghostbusters 2: Frozen Empire" is scheduled to hit theaters on March 29, 2024.
