Alongside "John Wick" and the "Taken" series, "The Equalizer" is considered a prime example of mature action heroes who continue to let it rip. After Denzel Washington already shone in "The Equalizer" and "The Equalizer 2", the "The Equalizer 3" trailer has finally been released - and fans are thrilled.

After Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) leaves behind his life as a hitman for the government, he has trouble dealing with the terrible things he did in the past. Still, he finds comfort in bringing justice to the oppressed. Meanwhile, he has settled surprisingly well into his new home in southern Italy. However, it soon becomes clear that his new friends there are being controlled by local gangster bosses and deaths are occurring. McCall knows he must act: He must once again become the protector of his friends and stand up to the mob.

Directed by Antoine Fuqua, the action thriller once again stars Denzel Washington. At his side this time act Dakota Fanning and David Denman. "The Equalizer 3" will be released in cinemas on August 31, 2023.
