Rumor: Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2
The second season of the Marvel series has already been ordered
Everyone is currently talking about one particular series: "Daredevil: Born Again". The first season of the revival recently kicked off and the reactions have been extremely positive. There are already plans for more, as the nine episodes of the first season will not be enough. A second season has already been confirmed, and according to a Marvel insider, there could be a reunion of the Defenders in the next season...
Some time ago, we already reported that Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist could become part of the MCU in the future. Brad Winderbaum, who is responsible for streaming and series at Marvel, revealed this in an interview with the industry magazine Entertainment Weekly. It was all a question of time, the availability of the actors and the production costs. According to him, the integration of the Defenders into the MCU is an extremely exciting creative task that is definitely being thought about.
Rumor: Defenders in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2
Marvel insider Alex Perez has now revealed via The Cosmic Circus that the Defenders are expected to return in season 2 of "Daredevil: Born Again". He is curious to see how the characters will be integrated into season 2 and, above all, how Matt Murdock can persuade them to return. However, it should be noted that this information must clearly be treated as a rumor. There is no official confirmation as of yet.
The introduction of the characters in season 2 of "Daredevil: Born Again" certainly sounds plausible. After all, Jon Bernthal's Punisher is another character from the Netflix-Marvel cosmos celebrating his comeback. As we have already reported, this will even be followed by a so-called "Punisher Special". It is therefore possible that a similar approach will be taken with the Defenders.
"Daredevil: Born Again" can currently be watched weekly on Disney Plus. If you haven't started the series yet and want to see what to expect, you can take another look at the trailer here.

A Look Back at Jessica Jones
Many Marvel fans would be particularly pleased to see a return of Jessica Jones. After Daredevil and the Punisher, she is probably the most popular protagonist from the Netflix Marvel series. The series follows Jessica Jones, a former superhero who works as a private detective in New York City after a traumatic experience. Here we take the opportunity to look back at the three seasons of the series.
Season 1
The first season of "Jessica Jones", released in 2015, introduced the main character and her dark world. Jessica Jones (played by Krysten Ritter) is a complex protagonist with a painful, personal background. She was abused in her past by Kilgrave (David Tennant), a psychopathic villain with the ability to control people with his commands. This traumatic incident has had a lasting impact on her life and mental health.
The season begins with Jessica working as a private investigator in Hell's Kitchen, dealing with mysterious cases. It soon becomes clear that Kilgrave has returned and Jessica could once again fall under his manipulative sway. The central theme of the first season is Jessica's fight against her own fears and the threat posed by Kilgrave, who still haunts and controls her. It's a tense thriller that explores themes of trauma, power and control. Jessica is at the center of the story not only as a superhero, but also as a victim, which sets the series apart from other MCU productions.
The first season was critically acclaimed, particularly for its bold approach to dark themes and Krysten Ritter's strong performance as Jessica. Tennant's portrayal of Kilgrave is also special, managing to portray a sinister and charming menace.
Season 2
The second season of "Jessica Jones" was released in 2018 and delves deeper into Jessica's past. The season received mixed reviews. Many praised the deeper exploration of Jessica's story and the interesting expansion of her universe, while others found the season less gripping than the first. So as not to give too much away, in case you haven't watched the series yet, we won't go into too much detail about the plot here. You can take another look at the trailer instead.

Season 3
The third and final season of "Jessica Jones" was released in 2019 and confronted Jessica with a new adversary: Gregory Sallinger (Jeremy Bobb). The season again deals with themes such as justice and the personal price Jessica pays for her actions. For some, the third season does not reach the level of the first season. Some praised the character development and the conclusion of the series, while others felt that the season was slower and didn't have the same energy as the previous ones.
