CinemaCon, one of the biggest film events of the year, is coming up soon. Hollywood's biggest studios come together in Las Vegas for just under a week. Fans can expect new trailers and announcements about upcoming film highlights.

What can we expect? For which blockbusters could new trailers be released? Here we want to give you an overview of CinemaCon 2025, which takes place from March 31 to April 3.

Sony

Sony will kick things off with a panel on March 31. "Karate Kid: Legends" will probably play an important role in Sony's presentation. After all, the film starring Jackie Chan is the studio's next big movie. We can also hope for a new trailer for the long-awaited sequel "28 Years Later". Here, too, it won't be too long now: the theatrical release is scheduled for June 20, 2025. You can watch the first trailer again here.

News about the "Anaconda" reboot with Jack Black and Paul Rudd could also await us. A little further in the future is July 31, 2026, when a new "Spider-Man" film with Tom Holland is due to be released. The film will probably be a topic at the Sony panel. We are curious to see whether new information will be provided here.

Warner Bros.

Warner Bros. will follow up with their panel on April 1. The new "Superman" film by James Gunn will certainly play a central role. A new trailer is a distinct possibility. We are also hoping for new material on "Mortal Kombat 2" or "The Conjuring 4: Last Rites". New images for "Mortal Kombat 2" have already been released recently.

Lionsgate

Studio Lionsgate will also be holding its panel on April 1. It is possible that we will be presented with new material for the John Wick spin-off "Ballerina". Lionsgate could also discuss the Michael Jackson biopic "Michael". The film is due to be released in cinemas on October 3.

We are also curious to see if we can expect new information on the prequel "The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping". The book by Suzanne Collins was only recently published. The film is due to be released in theatres on November 20, 2026.

Universal

Universal will be showing the live-action remake of "How to Train Your Dragon" in Las Vegas on April 2. Trailers or new footage could await us from "M3GAN 2.0" or "Nobody 2" with Bob Odenkirk. We are particularly curious to see whether we will be presented with a new trailer for "Jurassic World: Rebirth". Universal could also possibly release new information on Christopher Nolan's action epic "The Odyssey". Here you can take another look at the first trailer for the fourth part of the "Jurassic World" series.

Amazon MGM

Amazon MGM Studios will also be holding a panel on April 2. It is possible that we can see new material from the "Masters of the Universe" movie. After all, a first image has already been released. The majority of the cast is also known.

Paramount Pictures

On April 3, the eighth part of the "Mission Impossible" series will certainly be an important topic. "The Final Reckoning" awaits us in cinemas on May 23, 2025. The new "Smurfs" film is a possible candidate for another trailer. We can hope for new information on "The Running Man" with Glen Powell or "Scream 7".

Disney

Of course, Disney will also be represented at CinemaCon 2025. Candidates for new trailers include the Marvel films "Thunderbolts*" and "The Fantastic Four: First Steps". Avengers 5: Doomsday" is likely to be discussed at the very least.

New material from upcoming "Star Wars" productions is possible. However, the sci-fi saga will also have its own event again this year: the "Star Wars Celebration" is set to take place in Japan from April 18 to 20.

Of course, we are also hoping that Disney will provide us with new information on "Avatar 3: Fire and Ash" or "Predator: Badlands". Fans of animated films are hoping for fresh material from "Zootopia 2". You can find all the information on "Avatar 3" in our big movie preview.
