On November 12, the streaming service Disney+ will be launched. Right at the beginning the Star Wars series The Mandalorian will be available. However, there are still some questions about the series, e.g. the name of the main character as well as most of the storyline still hasn't reached the public. Director Jon Favreau awakens some hopes among the fans, as he announces that people can count on exciting appearances of some fan favorites. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he says

"I don't want to talk about anything that might be fun for people to discover. We do have conversations. Part of what's fun to see if we could merge the worlds of the original trilogy, the prequels, the sequels, The Clones Wars, and what's been considered canon up to this point and what's been considered part of Legends. I think this show offers an opportunity to bring in all those elements so no matter what your flavor of Star Wars ice cream you like there will be something to enjoy."

Since the takeover of Star Wars by Disney, some characters have also disappeared and no longer belong to the canon, but only to the legends. The best examples are Mara Jade and Grand Admiral Thrawn. So Faveure is open about who and how he will implement in the new series and won't let anyone look into his cards before the 12th Novmeber release.
