What is Elio about?
In "Elio", the eponymous boy Elio unexpectedly becomes the defender of Earth - not on home soil, but in the vastness of outer space. During the first contact with aliens, they mistake Elio for the official ambassador of humanity due to a misunderstanding. In the adventure that follows, Elio has to prove one thing to the aliens and, above all, to himself: True strength lies in being yourself.
Who is the director of Elio?
If you enjoyed the Pixar film "Coco", you can look forward to "Elio" in particular. The director and screenwriter behind both films is Adrian Molina. Domee Shi and Madeline Sharafian also act as directors. All three have already worked on numerous popular Pixar films, such as "Soul", "Inside Out" and "Ratatouille".
