Spider-Man 3: Alfred Molina, Andrew Garfield and Kirsten Dunst are back
The spectacular crossover becomes a reality
As we already reported a few weeks ago, Marvel's Spider-Man 3 is going to be a spectacular crossover respectively multiverse. As told by the Hollywood Reporter, characters such as the villain Doctor Octopus from Sony's Spider-Man 3 are back. The tragic figure of Doc Ock is again going to be played by Alfred Molina. This is of course not the only opponent Peter Parker has to deal with, because as we have known for a couple of weeks now, Jamie Foxx is also returning as Electro, and Kirsten Dunst is back in her role as Mary-Jane Watson.The most recent actor to join the film is be Charlie Cox as Daredevil. Collider magazine also confirms the long-desired comeback of Andrew Garfield, who already played the protagonist in 2012 and 2014. Apart from Tom Holland and Andrew Garfield, merely Toby Maguire is missing to complete the Spider-Man Trio. It is safe to assume that Sony and Marvel are already in talks with Maguire. However, Maguire has not been in front of a camera since 2014. The expected release of Spider-Man 3 is on December 16, 2021.
