New poster and start date for "Damsel" with Millie Bobby Brown released
The film was originally planned for 2023
Netflix has announced the start date for the new fantasy epic starring "Stranger Things" star Millie Bobby Brown.
"Damsel" tells the story of a princess who is to be fed to a dragon by her future family. However, the character played by Bobby Brown has no intention of being eaten by the monster and takes up the fight herself.
The fantasy epic is set to be released on Netflix on March 8, 2024 and will feature other familiar faces alongside Millie Bobby Brown: Robin Wright and Ray Winstone will take on the roles of the in-laws, while "Love Simon" star Nick Robinson will embody the role of Prince Harry. Also taking part: "Black Panther" actress Angela Bassett.
The film is directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, who has already impressed with the horror sequel "28 Weeks Later".
