20-year-old Bex (Svenja Jung) has to fight her way through a resocialization program in prison - and it's not easy for the provocative loner. Trainer Ava (Jasmin Tabatabai) tries to infect her and the other "resis" with her passion for dance and make the previous lone fighters fit for a dance battle as a group. While Bex slowly opens up to her peers, she is especially attracted to Jay (Ben Wichert). The "Resis" gain more and more cohesion, but then Bex is caught up by her traumatic past.
