A mysterious stranger enters a diner in Los Angeles and claims to be from the future. The time traveler wants to save humanity from being dominated by an uncontrolled AI. In order to realize his plan, he repeatedly travels back in time. He plans to form a group of allies from those present in the diner to avert the impending apocalypse.
The critics' verdict on the film is quite favorable. Despite some criticism of the technology-critical aspects, the negative reviews are limited. We think: The absurd action comedy is fun. However, the socio-critical approach is less convincing.
