Overview

Growing up is never easy, not for teenagers and certainly not for their parents. After Jason (Jonas Dassler) barely survives a serious skating accident, the relationship between him and his mother Marlene (Anke Engelke) is put to the test. While Jason continues to feel invulnerable, Marlene wants to protect him more than ever. When Marlene decides to take Jason across the republic to rehab in Switzerland, a hurdle-filled journey together begins, at the end of which is the question of how much fear one can allow and how much one must be willing to risk for freedom.
