Overview

After a seemingly harmless tonsil operation, fourteen-year-old Leila wakes up blind. None of the doctors can explain how this is possible. Leila's father Atilla despairs. He believes it is a doctor's bungle and within a few days falls into an emotional downward spiral. The family becomes increasingly estranged and Atilla makes a momentous decision to find out the truth.
