Overview

For 398 days, young Danish photographer Daniel Rye (Esben Smed) is held captive by the terrorist organization "Islamic State" in Syria. Together with other foreign hostages, including American journalist James Foley (Toby Kebbell), Daniel struggles to survive in captivity.
