Avatar 2: New Image Shows the Beautiful Underwater Scenery

Once again, Jon Landau provides the fans with some new footage

The sequel to "Avatar" is scheduled to officially hit theaters at the end of 2022. Just in time for World Oceans Day, producer Jon Landau once again posted new footage via Twitter, this time in the form of concept art. It hardly could have been any more appropriate, since the focus of "Avatar 2" is on the beautiful underwater world of Pandora. The fluorescent blue image proves that the seas of the moon, which is located in the Alpha Centauri solar system, don't have to hide from the already known flora. Not only do you see the diversity of species, but above all you can see a new plesiosaur-like sea creature. Next to all the corals and underwater plants, it's a really atmospheric picture. In fact, it's a pity that it's not a real clip from the movie. We're looking forward to seeing more impressions from Pandora and are excited about the release date on December 16, 2022.
