Freaky Friday 2 with Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis!

"Freaky Friday" was THE body-swapping comedy in 2003. It looks like we can expect a sequel soon - with the same stars!

In an interview with "People" magazine, Lindsay Lohan revealed that "Freaky Friday 2" is already in the works. Although the exact start of filming and a completed script have not been confirmed, the 37-year-old is excited to be back in front of the camera with Jamie Lee Curtis.

The two actresses, who played mother and daughter in the previous film, stay in regular contact and still speak to each other almost every day. The fantasy comedy, in which mother and daughter swap bodies, marked Lindsay Lohan's breakthrough as a teen star.

Rumors of a sequel first surfaced in 2023 when Jamie Lee Curtis was constantly asked about "Freaky Friday" during the "Halloween Ends" promo tour. She then called her friends at Disney and stressed that a movie had to be made. A script has already been commissioned. We are curious to see how exactly the story will be continued.
