The cast of "Arielle" is slowly taking shape
This pop superstar is supposed to take the male lead
Arielle's cast is starting to come together. After the controversial cast of Arielle by Halle
Bailey, the evil witch Ursula by Melissa McCarthy and Arieles friend Fabian by Jacob
Tremblay are also in the cast. Now an actor for the male lead role of Prince Eric seems to have been found, and he is no less than the all time girl crush and ex One Direction singer
Harry Styles. Styles didn't have much to do with acting up to now, yet he did a great
supporting role as a British soldier in Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk.
Now Styles will embody the beloved of Arielle, which at least visually is closer to the original
than some other Disney cast choices.
An exact start date for Arielle the Mermaid has not yet been set, but many journalists expect
a release in 2021.
