Cast and Title for Knives Out 3
Rumors suggest that Tom Hardy will take on a role as well
A new case for Benoit Blanc: fans of quirky crime stories in the style of Agatha Christie are likely to be in for a treat again next year, as another "Knives Out" movie is in the pipeline. It has the auspicious title "Wake Up Dead Man - A Knives Out Mystery" and will once again come with a remarkable cast.
In addition to lead actor Daniel Craig, the cast currently includes Cailee Spaeny, "Challengers" actor Josh O'Connor, Kerry Washington and Glenn Close. "Ripley" actor Andrew Scott, Mila Kunis and Jeremy Renner have likewise just joined the cast. What's On Netflix also mentioned two other potential candidates: Tom Hardy and Lindsay Lohan. However, it remains unclear for now whether they are actually part of the cast.
"Wake Up Dead Man - A Knives Out Mystery", which is of course once again written and directed by Rian Johnson, may take on a much darker tone than its predecessors, judging by the first teaser trailer. Benoit Blanc can be heard taking us through the series once again in just a few sentences. Shortly afterwards, he announces that his most dangerous case is yet to be solved. Fittingly, the image turns black and a coffin appears in our field of vision, above which the title of the new movie is shown. A final chime also unveils that the third part of the film series will be released next year. We can't wait to find out more!
