New mischief from Winnie the Pooh and his friends: Another sequel is already waiting in the wings, which, according to initial information, will have a significantly higher budget.

Although last year's slasher "Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey" was received rather dividedly by both horror fans and critics, it developed into a hit and was able to gross a whole 5 million dollars on a low budget of just 100 thousand dollars. Naturally, a sequel had to be made immediately, which was released on March 26 under the title "Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2".

It seems that the idea of turning the cuddly Disney characters into monstrous killers has, literally, tasted blood: according to Variety, part 3 is already in development. This is to be made with a significantly higher budget than its predecessors and present us with a number of new characters, including Rabbit and Heffalump.

The makers are also planning a "Poohniverse" film in which the characters meet Peter Pan, Pinocchio and Sleeping Beauty. Of course, it will be extremely gory and anything but child-friendly.

Let's see what else awaits us besides this "Avengers"-like encounter and "Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 3". After all, the copyrights to many Disney characters are due to expire in the next few years.
