"Uncharted": A new set of images has emerged

What is the mysterious golden cross all about?

It's been over two months since we last saw official images from the filming of "Uncharted". Now the time has come again, because the social media team published four new pictures to get us in the mood for the blockbuster, which is scheduled for release in mid-July. Especially interesting is a picture of a mysterious golden cross, which is covered with precious stones and could possibly serve as a key. Could this be the key to the golden city of El Dorado? Also interesting is the world map, on which some places are marked in red. Among them are Scotland, Iceland, Crete, the Red Sea, and coastal areas of Australia and Antarctica. This seems quite plausible, after all, we are used to Nathan Drake being able to master any terrain from snowy mountain peaks to overgrown jungles and dry deserts. Africa is clearly at the center of it all, which in turn could indicate the main location of the story. What is also noticeable is that Australia is missing a large part of the land mass, which is why the map must be a few centuries old.

Of course, it's still up in the air whether the locations mentioned will actually be in the upcoming film, but they will most likely have some connection to the storyline. Regardless, we are excited to see new material and we look forward to the release on July 16, 2021.
