Kyle Chandler in Talks for the Lead Role in the DC Series "Lanterns"

A few weeks ago, rumors were already circulating that Josh Brolin was to take on the role of Hal Jordan in the DC series "Lanterns". However, negotiations failed. According to Variety, a new actor is now in the running: Emmy winner Kyle Chandler.

The high-profile production is based on the popular DC comic "Green Lantern" and is seen by some as the great hope for the new DCU. According to sources, Chandler will play the role of Hal Jordan, one of the most iconic characters in the "Green Lantern" universe.
