After a break of over seven years: A spin-off to "Monster AG" is in the starting blocks
The story, however, will no longer be primarily about Sulley and Mike
The upcoming streaming service Disney+ has announced its plans for the "Monster Inc." spinoff "Monsters At Work". This would be the first time in seven years that Sully and Mike return to
the screen. The plot of "Monsters At Work" will take place six months after the first film. The power plant discovered in the first film is supposed to use the laughter of children to drive the city of
Monstropolis. The focus will be on the young mechanic Tyler Tuskmon, whose greatest dream is to work together with his idols Mike and Sulley in the laughter department of
Monster Inc. The original dubbing actors of Mike and Sulley, Billy Crystal and John Goodman, are back again. John Ratzenberger as Yeti, Jennifer Tilly as Celia and Bob Peterson as Roze will also be
part of the game. The producer of "Monsters At Work" is Disney Television Animation and the release date is set for 2020.
