Reacher Season 5: Amazon Renews Action Series Ahead of Season 4 Premiere

Good news for all "Reacher" fans: Season 4 of the action series hasn't been released yet, but there's already more on the way. Amazon Prime Video revealed that a fifth season of the Alan Ritchson series has been ordered.

This gives the creative team early planning security. No further details were provided at the time of the announcement – after all, Season 4 is on the agenda first. Amazon has now revealed some details about the plot of the upcoming season.

Season 4 is based on the novel "Gone Tomorrow", the 13th book in Lee Child's Jack Reacher series: "When a chance encounter with a distraught stranger on a subway goes horribly wrong, Jack Reacher is drawn into a complex and deadly game that pits him against ruthless foes from the highest echelons of power."

Several new cast members have also been confirmed for the new season, including Chris Marquette, Sydelle Noel, AGNEZ MO, Anggun, Kevin Weisman, Marc Blucas, Kevin Corrigan, and Kathleen Roberston.

When will Reacher Season 4 be released?

Filming for the fourth season has already wrapped. Alan Ritchson recently revealed in an interview with the entertainment portal Collider that the new season is set to premiere in 2026. However, a specific release date has not yet been announced.

The first Reacher spin-off Neagley

But "Reacher" fans can look forward to more than just new seasons of the main series: a spin-off series titled "Neagley" is in the works. As the title suggests, the story centers on Frances Neagley, played by Maria Sten. Sten has appeared in all three seasons of "Reacher" to date.

Amazon has already released the first plot details: Frances Neagley works as a private investigator in Chicago. When a friend from her past dies in a mysterious accident, she is determined to search for the truth. Filming for "Neagley" was completed before the fourth season of "Reacher." So it's possible that we can look forward to two seasons from the action franchise this year.
