After injury of Daniel Craig: shooting of "Bond 25" is on hold

But the date of release should not be in danger

by Pierre Lorenz on May 22, 2019

Almost two weeks ago Daniel Craig injured himself so badly during the shooting of Bond 25

that he had to be flown to a hospital in the USA. Meanwhile, the shooting has of course

been completely put on hold and many fans even fear a delayed release of Bond 25.

But that's probably not the case, because on Wednesday the official Bond Twitter channel

said that Craig had to undergo an ankle operation after he fell unhappily during a sprint. At

the same time the fans are reassured and it is announced that Craig's injury will not

significantly influence the release date in April 2020.

So Bond fans can first breathe a sigh of relief and then presumably see the cinema spectacle

with Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris and many more in the cinemas on April 9, 2020.
