Rumor has it that Sony apparently wants to bring the hit game "Bloodborne" to the movies. The rumor about a movie adaptation of the popular FromSoftware game originates from insider Daniel Richtman, who has proven himself to be a reliable source on several occasions.
Sony is said to have already hired Darren Lemke as a writer and "Transformers" veteran Lorenzo Di Bonaventura as a producer, who will be in charge of the project. A Patreon post published by Richtman states:
"Bloodborne follows the player's character, a Hunter, through the decrepit Gothic, Victorian-era-inspired city of Yharnam, whose inhabitants are afflicted with a blood-borne disease which transforms the residents, called Yharnamites, into horrific beasts. Attempting to find the source of the plague, the player's character unravels the city's mysteries while fighting beasts and cosmic beings."
It remains unclear when the movie will go into production, as nothing has been confirmed by Sony yet, but we will keep you up to date as always!
