First Images of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in a Suit in Deadpool 3

Finally: The first pictures of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in "Deadpool 3"! There has long been speculation about in which way the character would return for the film. The new images make particularly fans of the comics cheer.

Ryan Reynolds himself published the first photo via Twitter. You can see himself in his Deadpool costume and Hugh Jackman. But this version of Wolverine looks clearly different from the previous movies: He is finally wearing the famous look from the X-Men comics, namely his yellow suit! Side by side it even looks like the two are wearing a kind of matching look in the image - which is certainly not a coincidence.

The images fit with Ryan Reynolds' earlier statements that in "Deadpool 3" we will meet a totally different Wolverine than we experienced in the "X-Men" movies or "Logan". However, since we have come to know and love Jackman's role through these, this naturally makes our ears prick up. We are excited to see how the character will act in this new version - his looks are definitely something to look forward to.

By the way, the Wolverine look is not the only news about "Deadpool 3" that evokes a fair amount of nostalgia. It was just announced that an old superheroine will make her return to the big screen after 19 years: Jennifer Garner is once again slipping into the role of "Elektra" for the MCU adventure - she last played the assassin in the 2003 "Daredevil" movie starring Ben Affleck and in her own standalone adventure in 2005. Neither movie was particularly successful, but that fate is unlikely to happen to "Deadpool 3". The movie will be released on May 3, 2024, and we pretty much expect it to be a big hit at the box office.
