Resumption of production: "The Batman" and Co. can be filmed again

The effects of the pandemic measures cannot be ignored, however

The pandemic had unimaginable effects on the film industry. In particular, the cinema business has been idle for months and in many parts of the world there is no sign of a major improvement this month. At least there is now a ray of hope in terms of filming, as this can be resumed in many countries.

Firstly, there is New Zealand, where the government has decided that seven productions can be continued at the same time. The team of the "Lord of the Rings"-Amazon series, which is already expected by many fans, can be happy. Avatar 2" is already being worked on for a short time, but now the non-New Zealand staff is allowed to enter the country as well. Also the live-action adaptation of "Cowboy Bebop", which was produced on behalf of Netflix, has a reason to be happy, because now foreign crew members are finally allowed to start the production at all. In addition to the three productions mentioned above, "The Power Of The Dog" with Benedict Cumberbatch, the third season of the series "Power Rangers Beast Morphers" and the two films "The Greatest Beer Run Ever" and "Sweet Tooth" will continue to be produced.

We also see great blockbuster potential in the United Kingdom at the moment. There, "The Batman", "Mission Impossible 7", "Jurassic World: Dominion" and "Fantastic Beasts 3" are currently benefiting from the government's relaxation. The team of "Cinderella" and "Arielle" has also started working on the respective projects again.

Nevertheless, Great Britain is taking more extensive measures than New Zealand, because here the crew and the cast have to work more or less independently. and are not allowed to leave a certain radius around the film location. In exchange, the actors and the team do not have to undergo a 14-day quarantine.

By the way, the situation in Hollywood looks much worse, because there is currently no way to continue the production. This might even lead to the fact that some film studios will simply shoot their movies outside of the USA, should there be no loosening of the rules soon. In any case, we will keep you up to date on the productions of your favourite films and series and hope that we will be prevented from further serious postponements in the future.
