Nicole Kidman is back with her latest film project: it's called "Babygirl" and is described as an "erotic thriller".

This is What "Babygirl" is About

At the center of the plot is Nicole Kidman in the role of Romy, a successful CEO of a large New York corporation. Romy lives a seemingly perfect life: Her career is successful, her marriage happy, and she has two children, too. But her seemingly perfect life is thrown into disarray when the self-confident young intern Samuel turns up. Samuel defies the rules and Romy's dominance, which leads to an affair between the two. In the process, Romy unleashes previously repressed sexual fantasies, leading to a tense power play between the two characters.

According to the Zurich Film Festival, Nicole Kidman delivers one of the "bravest and best performances" of her entire career. Others seem to think so as well, as she has already been awarded the prize for best actress at the Venice Film Festival.

The movie is directed by Dutch director Halina Reijn, who made a name for herself in 2022 with the horror comedy "Bodies Bodies Bodies". In addition to Kidman and Dickinson, the cast also includes Antonio Banderas and "Talk To Me" actress Sophie Wilde. The successful studio A24 is working behind the scenes.
