The 2025/2026 movie years already have a lot to offer: Among other things, we can expect a reboot of the cult comedy "The Naked Gun" starring Liam Neeson.

As Variety reports, Paramount Pictures recently announced exciting news about their upcoming film projects in 2025 and 2026 - including a highly anticipated reboot of the popular "The Naked Gun" series starring Liam Neeson as a chaotic cop. The movie is being produced by Seth MacFarlane and is set to be released on July 18, 2025.

Animation fans are also likely to get their money's worth again in the next few years, as two new sequels are in the pipeline. One is "Paw Patrol 3", which is scheduled for July 31, 2026, and the other is "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem 2". The return of the popular turtles will once again be directed by Jeff Rowe and produced by Seth Rogen. The film will hit theaters on October 9, 2026.

Another highlight in the Paramount movie schedule is the musical "Better Man", which is based on the life of Robbie Williams. The film will be released exclusively on the in-house streaming service Paramount+ on December 25, 2024, followed by a theatrical release on January 17, 2025. The biopic will be directed by Michael Gracey, director of "The Greatest Showman".
