"Back to the future" is probably one of THE cult films of the 80s. So it's no surprise that from time to time rumors about a reboot or a fourth part appear. A Deepfake video that appeared on the internet a few weeks ago shows one of the most famous scenes of the first part - only Michael J Fox as Marty McFly was replaced by Tom Holland and Christopher Lloyd as Doc Brown by Robert Downey Jr. Right away The first rumors about a new edition were spreading on the internet, which did not leave Tom Holland unaffected, as he explains in an interview with BBC Radio 1. He states that he would lie if there had been no talks about a remake in the past. However, he also adds that "Back to the Future" is one of the most perfect films and that no one would be able to make such films any better. Nevertheless, he couldn't resist to re-shoot this one scene with Robert Downey Jr., as long as Downey Jr. takes over the production costs and the salary of Tom Holland, since he has a lot of money. The bottom line is that there definitely won't be a remake with Tom Holland and Robert Downey Jr. - but despite all this it would probably be a pretty entertaining performance.
