The relatively reliable news platform Geeks WorldWide exclusively published a few days ago that a Jurassic World live action series related to Jurassic World 3 is currently in the works. An interested fan base for the idea is certainly available, even if it's not really clear yet what such a series could be about. The only reliable information that is currently circulating is that the series will play in Vancouver. Whether the series is already being worked on is not known, nor is a possible release. On the other hand, a lot is happening in the upcoming movie Jurassic World 3. Almost every day new cast members are announced, most recently the actress Dichen Lachman, who might look familiar to some from Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. In general, the central theme of the cast is to bring together the old and the new Jurassic generation in front of the camera. So Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard as well as Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum will be part of the cast. Chris Pratt said in a recent interview that the script is incredible so far and he can't wait until shooting starts.
Behind the camera is director Colin Trevorrow, who is also writing the script together with Emily Carmichael. Jurassic World 3 will be released on 11 June 2021.
