A New Actor for Two-Face?

So if you don't want to know anything at all about the villains in "The Batman 2," you'd better be on your guard! One of the masks strongly resembles the villain Two-Face—and fans believe they've spotted similarities to actor Brian Tyree Henry.

Two-Face, once the respected district attorney Harvey Dent, is one of Batman's most famous adversaries, whose face was disfigured by an acid attack and who has since been ruled by his split personality. In Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight," the iconic character was famously portrayed by Aaron Eckhart.

Until now, it was not known who Brian Tyree Henry would play in "The Batman 2." Instead, there had long been speculation that another actor—Sebastian Stan—would portray Harvey Dent, aka Two-Face.

Who will Sebastian Stan play?

But he might now take on a completely different villain role. One of the items on the shelf pictured bears the inscription "Zsasz." Hardcore Batman fans will now be pricking up their ears. Victor Zsasz is a psychopathic serial killer from the Batman universe who ranks among the Dark Knight's most ruthless adversaries. Hollywood insider Jeff Sneider reported several months ago that Sebastian Stan is set to portray Zsasz. He also stated that, according to his sources, Brian Tyree Henry has been cast as Harvey Dent.

Another item bears the name "Owl 3." This could be a reference to the "Court of Owls." This is a centuries-old, secret organization of influential figures who secretly control the fate of Gotham City and secure their power through a network of contract killers. However, their appearance in "The Batman 2" has not been confirmed.

The theatrical release of The Batman 2

It remains unclear, however, what role superstar Scarlett Johansson will play. Rumors range from Poison Ivy to Gilda Dent, the wife of Harvey Dent. We'll likely have definitive answers by early 2028 at the latest.

"The Batman: Part 2" is set to hit theaters on February 18, 2028—provided the recent hiatus in filming doesn't have a major impact. Most recently, director Matt Reeves had to take a step back due to personal matters. "Ocean's Eleven" director Steven Soderbergh is now set to wrap up filming. You can read more about that here.
