The DC blockbuster with Robert Pattinson is also highly anticipated by many fans. The exact plot is still unclear, but at least we know that the film will go in the direction of the Dark Knight's Origin story. A special focus will be put on the detective skills of the young Batman in a big series of murders, so to speak as a detective noir story. The popular Arkham Asylum will also play a role and it can be very likely assumed that the DC comic "Batman: The Long Halloween" will serve as a basic template for the blockbuster. The long-awaited film will be directed by "Cloverfield" director Matt Reeves, while the script was completed by Peter Craig. After his role in "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice", it was already confirmed in 2016 that Ben Affleckt will take on the double position as lead actor and director. The subsequent reports that Affleck's script was pure chaos finally led to the actor's resignation. But he doesn't have to give up his bat costume completely, as he is scheduled for the role of Batman in the upcoming "The Flash" solo film.

However, the cast of "The Batman" is also without Affleck's participation pretty impressive, as Robert Pattinson in the role of Bruce Wayne, Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Colin Farrell as Penguin, Paul Dano as Riddler and many other big names are part of the film. How the young Batman will fight against the large number of villains, you can probably find out from March 04, 2022.
