The popular teen series "My Life with the Walter Boys" is returning for another round! Starting today, August 6, you can stream Season 3 on Netflix. But fans can rest assured: The new season does not mark the end of the series. A fourth season has already been confirmed – and filming has already begun.

Production on the fourth season is underway

Netflix confirmed Season 4 back in May 2026. Series creator and showrunner Melanie Halsall expressed her excitement about the renewal of the hit series in an interview with Netflix's Tudum. At the same time, she emphasized that the fourth season will continue to follow the familiar formula that has made the show a success.

"Our story's about love and romance and love triangles and all those teenage trials and tribulations around those things, and we're not going to divert from those – so much, much more of that to come in Season 4."

Filming is currently taking place in Calgary, Canada. There shouldn't be too long of a wait between Seasons 3 and 4. Netflix announced that the fourth season will premiere in 2027. A release in the summer of next year seems realistic.

What My Life with the Walter Boys Is About

"My Life with the Walter Boys" is a coming-of-age series that blends drama, romance, and family stories. Netflix adapted the series from the novel of the same name by author Ali Novak.

The story follows teenager Jackie Howard (Nikki Rodriguez), whose life is turned upside down after a devastating tragedy forces her to move in with a large family. There, she has to adjust to a completely new environment, build new friendships, and find her own path between love, family, and growing up.

My Life with the Walter Boys Season 3

The third season will pick up where the shocking Season 2 finale left off. The focus, of course, remains on Jackie, Cole Walter (Noah LaLonde), and Alex Walter (Ashby Gentry). As a reminder (spoiler for Season 2): Alex's girlfriend Jackie and Cole confessed their love for each other in the finale – and Alex overheard them. At the same time, George, the head of the Walters family, had to be hospitalized. Ashby Gentry commented on Tudum:

"Everyone's reality has shattered a little bit, and they're picking up the pieces of that and trying to put it back together again."

Showrunner Melanie Halsall also addressed the tense situation that will certainly play a role in Season 3:

"Cole hates himself for what he did to Alex, both with Paige (Madison Brydges) years ago, and with Jackie in Season 1. [...] The last thing he wants to do is make it any worse."

The official plot synopsis for Season 3 reads as follows: The path of true love never runs smooth, especially in Silver Falls. [...] Season 3 sees the Walters realize what's important in the fallout from this – and discover that it's okay to go after what you want.

With their love lives still hanging in the balance, Alex turns to his new rodeo riding team, and Cole gets back in the driver's seat of his life, literally, when a race car driver sees potential in him. Meanwhile, Jackie pours her heart into developing the town's community space. But when a childhood friend arrives from New York, the life she left behind proves harder to forget than she expected.
