"Noma" is a journey through the unique culinary universe of René Redzepi, whose Copenhagen restaurant, Noma, has been named the best in the world four times in recent years. For three years, director Pierre Deschamps followed Redzepi on his journey—from winning his third title as the world's best restaurant in 2012, through a setback that severely shook Noma in 2013, all the way back to the pinnacle of the global culinary world in 2014. In the process, he gives a voice to professional colleagues such as top chef Ferrán Adrià and Noma co-founder Claus Meyer, as well as members of the Noma team and the suppliers who enrich Redzepi's cuisine with their unique products. At the same time, Deschamps offers a personal glimpse into René Redzepi's life, speaking with his parents and showing him surrounded by his family.
