Overview

This documentary is about three museum taxidermists who are all convinced that society's distance from nature can be overcome with the help of taxidermied animals. After all, millions of species are threatened with extinction due to human influence. The film shows the three men, who work at museums in Berlin, Brussels and Rome, as they prepare for the 2018 European Taxidermy Championship. For each of them, participating in it means something different.
