Overview

Swordsman Inan, the best assassin in the kingdom of Joseon, must retire from the bloody contract business due to a heart condition. In search of a cure, he comes across the distressed soup cook Seon-hong in a village. He saves her life and from now on works in her kitchen, where he befriends her son Chilbog. But the village is ruled by bandits and corrupt politicians involved in the opium trade. In an incident at the soup kitchen, Inan kills the brother of the bandit leader and Chilbog is kidnapped. Now hunted by everyone, the assassin must pick up his sword again and embark on one last deadly mission....
