One of the most famous musicians of our time is getting a cinematic memorial: "The Bear" star Jeremy Allen White will portray Bruce Springsteen in Scott Cooper's biopic "Deliver Me From Nowhere".

Allen White, who is currently still busy filming the third and fourth seasons of "The Bear", has secured the role of the rock legend, according to Deadline.

The biopic, which will focus on Springsteen's iconic 1982 album "Nebraska" and is tentatively titled "Deliver Me From Nowhere", will be directed by Scott Cooper – known for the acclaimed "Crazy Heart" with Jeff Bridges. Cooper will also be responsible for the screenplay. He will be supported by Bruce Springsteen himself and his manager Jon Landau, who are actively involved in the production. The successful studio A24 will be responsible for distribution.

Filming could begin as early as this fall – although there is no start date yet.
